Combined Balancing Group

Before more than three years Energy and Development Company has created a test balancing group for the aggregation of unbalanced energy. The participants were from different regions of the country with the idea to reduce the hourly deviations from the inaccuracies of the meteorological forecasts. The main purpose of this test period was to give a more clear idea of the daily actions associated with the data from the participants, as well as to estimate the level of reduction of the unbalanced energy in the group. Based on actual data provided from the participants our team was calculating results for the aggregation in the balancing group. The results of the test group were for a 50% reduction of the cost for unbalanced energy.
